Blue Dog Yoga and Healing was developed by Caron Shepley, yoga guru, energy coach and animal lover. She is dedicated to help people optimize their body, mind and spirit with educational workshops, yoga classes, crystal chakra balancing sessions and more. As a passionate animal lover, Caron also wants to help animals, big and small, optimize themselves allowing for synergy among all sentient beings. The "blue dog" in Blue Dog Yoga and Healing was Caron's beloved childhood dog (who accidentally but happily got "shampooed" with blue finger paint) and was the most nurturing and patient dog any child could hope for. ANIMAL COMMUNICATION (live or in-spirit)
Caron can help your fur-baby optimize his or her body, mind, and spirit with an Live Animal Communication session. Sessions are done from a distance (similar to Reiki distance treatments). You will need to provide your animal's name, age, and any questions that you would like answered. Caron will provide you with a report of the communication via email which will contain the following:
- your pet's favourite memories (you will be surprised that they are often simpler than you think!)
- your pet's likes and dislikes
- answers to any questions that you may have
- suggestions of strategies for behaviour changes
- suggestions on how to effectively communicate with your animal yourself
- any messages that your pet want to provide on how to optimize your own self

For an Animal In-Spirit Communication, Caron will tune into your animal in-spirit using a photo, the owner’s name and when the animal passed. Caron will provide you with a report of the communication via email which will contain the following:
- a description of the pet in-spirit's personality
- your pet in-spirit's special memories
- who they are with on the other side
- any messages that your pet in-spirit wants you to know
- a special sign that your pet in-spirit has for you as a symbol of his/her presence
ABOUT CHAKRA BALANCING
Most people attend to their physical and mental health, but ignore their energetic health. Chakra balancing is a way to improve one's energetic health or energy body to help you in the following ways:
- It gives you greater and faster ability to heal your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional issues.
- It allows for Increased openness, memory, concentration and awareness.
- It improves your connection with others and your intuition.
The easiest way to read the quality of energy in your chakras is with a pendulum. Keeping your chakras open and balanced is therefore key to your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. To read the quality of energy in your chakras, I will hold the pendulum over each chakra. On its own, the pendulum will begin a subtle motion. The motion you observe will indicate what is happening with that particular chakra.
Here are some options of what you may observe:
Closed: If the chakra is closed, your pendulum will not move.
Open: If the chakra is open, your pendulum will begin to move in a clockwise fashion.
Counterclockwise: This indicates your chakra is open but the energy in that particular chakra is moving backwards.
Over Energy: If the pendulum moves clockwise but extremely rapidly, that means your chakra is processing too much energy. This is not good because over energy always eventually leads to under energy.
Under Energy: If the pendulum moves clockwise but weakly, the chakra is open but is deficient in chi life force energy.
Erratic or Uneven Swing: If the pendulum moves but in an erratic or uneven swing, that indicates that the chakra is open but there is an imbalance, congestion or partial blockage in the chakra.
A Crystal Chakra Balancing session takes one hour and involves chakra measurement, chakra balancing and a prescribed plan to keep your chakras balanced once you leave the session. CRYSTAL MEASUREMENT & HEALING FOR ANIMALS
Crystal therapy can promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Crystals do this by positively interacting with your body's energy field or chakra. Each chakra holds a unique vibration as do individual crystals. If the chakra is out of balance or is blocked it will not vibrate optimally. In a chakra measurement and balancing reading for animals, Caron session includes:
- tuning into your animal
- measuring you're animal's chakras to see if they are balanced
- ask for insight regarding any imbalances that are detected
- balance any imbalanced chakras
- Ask the animal's spirit guides to provide a message for both you and your animal
This session is done from a distance (like distance Reiki) and following the session, Caron will send you a report of the session.

SPIRIT ANIMAL & ANIMAL TOTEM READINGS
A Spirit Animal is characterized as a teacher or messenger that comes in the form of an animal and has a personal relationship to an individual. Your Spirit Animal's role is to provide “medicine” to the recipient in the form of guidance and wisdom. A Power Animal is an animal that provides protection and inner strength. It is believed that you do not choose these 2 animals, rather they choose you. Animal Totems are believed to be the animals that we feel a very strong connection with and can influence us throughout our lives and step forward to give us guidance in various life situations.
Shamans worldwide have relied on the guidance, wisdom, and symbolism of spirit animals for thousands of years. Once you understand who your Spirit Animals, Power Animals and Animal Totems are, you can call on them to assist you in challenging situations or when you need guidance and/or protection.
A Spirit Animal Reading includes 3 parts:
- The INTAKE FORM and PHOTO: The reading recipient will be asked to email a recent photo and a completed intake form, to explain any areas of you life that you are looking to obtain guidance about.
- THE REPORT: Caron will provide a full report via email outlining your main Spirit Animal, your Power Animal and 5 Totem Animals who are with you at this time to assist you in the different areas of your life at this time.
- The DEBRIEF: A debrief is optional, but it is basically a discussion via phone or zoom to discuss any questions that the reading recipient has.
