have teamed up to offer a Yoga Teacher Training Course.
CPTN Yoga Level 1: Basic
Yoga Theory and Posture Practice.
This gives you 14 hours of CPTN CECs |
Pre-requisite: |
Functional Anatomy or equivalent proof of anatomy training
(fitness base training ie. CPTN Personal Trainers’ Certification) |
Course Description: |
This workshop will introduce you to yoga history and basic
theory of pranayama and asana practice. This course
will also investigate different types of yoga. Posture
practice will include sun salutations and other basic poses,
counter poses and meditative poses. There will be a short
exam at the end of this session. |

Course Description: |
This workshop will discuss advanced yoga theories of ashima,
eating, body types. This workshop will include class
teaching skills such as member screening, class design and
music selection. Posture practice will include vinyasa
variations. There will be a short exam at the end of
this session. |

Advanced Yoga Theory and Teaching Techniques and 10 hours
of taking yoga classes or teaching yoga in a class or personal
training format. |
Course Description: |
This course will involve the practice of specific postures
and explain how they benefit athletes in specific sports. This
course will also enhance the general understanding of the benefits
of yoga for the average individual. This workshop will
also discuss the requirements for the logged practice teaching
and final examination. |

Description: |
The online exam will consist of 60 questions based on the
material discussed during Levels I, II & III. One
hour will be given for the exam and a grade of 70% must be
